Christopher brings two decades of intellectual property law experience to Renner Otto. He has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications on behalf of both foreign and domestic entities, including Fortune 500 Global companies, NYSE corporations, and small businesses alike. He is adept at revising foreign patent applications for filing in the United States and is well-experienced in conducting USPTO examiner interviews on office actions and appeals, including in front of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
He received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and has since broadened his practice focus to include materials engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer system engineering. He has focused on semiconductor device manufacturing and circuitry, medical devices, electronic and optical systems and materials, and recording media and methods. His experience extends to illumination and display technologies, computer systems, household appliances, glass manufacturing, insulation, automotive manufacturing, and nuclear waste storage. He is also a presenting authority on the America Invents Act.
